Self-efficacy and Self-regulation Linking with Mathematics Achievement in Girls from Secondary Schools

Research studies have proved that students' mathematics self-efficacy and self-regulation is directly related to students' mathematics achievement and overall learning. In this research, correlations and differences of students' mathematics self-efficacy, self-regulation and mathematics achievement in a sample of five hundred female students from five public sector secondary schools studying in grade nine were investigated. Impact of Smartphone Addiction on Students' Academic Achievement in Higher Education Institute of Pakistan

The present study investigates the role of smartphone usage, self-regulation, general self-efficacy and cyber loafing on university student's smartphone addiction and its impact on students' academic achievement. The data has been collected from 453 students of a private sector higher education institute of Pakistan through an online questionnaire. Antecedents of Cognitive Job Engagement and its Effect on Teacher Performance: Moderating Roles of Occupational Stress and Mentoring

This paper analyzes a) the effect of organizational climate, supervisor support, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB-I) on cognitive job engagement (CJE); b) the effect of CJE on teacher performance; and c) the moderating roles of occupational stress and mentoring for the positive relationship between CJE and teacher performance. Regional Disparities in Demand for Education: A Microeconometric Analysis for Pakistan

This study identifies the determinants of household expenditures on education in four provinces of Pakistan. The household survey data are used to identify the factors that affect household's decision to spend on education. Lognormal hurdle model is employed which suggests that household income, gender and age of household head, awareness about education, school going children and rural urban residence affect household expenditures on education.
