Software development is rapidly changing and firms can only become competitive if they keep their software project effective in the ever-changing and growing world of software development. To attain this achievement, the main factor is conscientious measurements and performance assessment of the project by using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These tools are vital in helping stakeholders and project managers supervise progress, identify potential hazards, and make decisions accordingly. The current study focuses on the relationship between KPIs and measurement and software initiative performance. The objective is to explore the most effective method in project performance improvement, and process optimization, and successfully guarantee software project completion by considering different tools that may influence results. It is not only important for researchers to embrace KPIs and metrics. Importance of the software is essential but it is need for firms to focus on these aspects to attain success in a a rapidly changing dynamic.
